Terms of Service

Welcome to Kinnly. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Kinnly mobile application, operated by Design by Riah ("we," "our," or "us"). By creating an account or using Kinnly, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Kinnly. By using the app, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older. We reserve the right to terminate accounts of users found to be under 18.

2. What Kinnly Is

Kinnly is an anonymous voice calling platform that connects people who need someone to talk to with willing listeners. Kinnly is not a mental health service, crisis hotline, dating app, or emergency service. It is a platform for anonymous human connection and conversation.

🚨 In a mental health crisis or emergency, call 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or 911 immediately. Do not rely on Kinnly for emergency support.

3. Account Registration

You must provide a valid phone number to verify your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Community Guidelines & Prohibited Conduct

Kinnly is built on trust and human kindness. The following are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate permanent ban:

  • Any romantic, sexual, or explicit content or solicitation

  • Harassment, hate speech, threats, or abusive behavior

  • Sharing or requesting personal identifying information (real name, address, financial info)

  • Arranging in-person meetups with other users

  • Impersonating another person or creating fake accounts

  • Using Kinnly for commercial solicitation or spam

  • Attempting to circumvent safety features or community moderation

Serious violations may be reported to law enforcement authorities.

5. Anonymity & Identity

Kinnly is designed to be anonymous. You agree not to attempt to identify, locate, or contact other users outside of the app. Attempting to de-anonymize other users is a serious violation of these Terms.

6. Voice Calls

All calls on Kinnly are routed through encrypted VoIP infrastructure. We do not record call audio. You consent to call metadata (duration, category, rating) being stored for trust and safety purposes. You agree not to record calls without the other party's explicit consent, as this may violate applicable laws.

7. Ratings & Trust System

After each call, users may rate their experience. Ratings contribute to a trust score that helps maintain community safety. Attempting to manipulate ratings, create fake accounts to boost scores, or abuse the rating system is prohibited.

8. Content & Conduct Moderation

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently ban any account that violates these Terms, without prior notice. We may review call metadata and user reports to enforce our community guidelines. You can report any user who violates these Terms from within the app.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Kinnly is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be available at all times, error-free, or that connections will always be made. We are not responsible for the conduct of other users on the platform.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Design by Riah shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of Kinnly. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (if any).

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Design by Riah, its affiliates, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of Kinnly or your violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from within the app. Upon termination, your right to use Kinnly ceases immediately.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the app. Your continued use of Kinnly after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
