The Short Version

We don't collect your data.

Your receipts, subscriptions, and financial information stay on your device. We can't see it, access it, or share it.

How ReceiptVault Works

Local Storage Only

All your data is stored locally on your device:

  • Receipts you add or scan

  • Subscriptions you track

  • Your settings and preferences

This data never leaves your device unless you choose to export it or enable Google Drive sync.

Google Drive Sync (Optional)

If you choose to enable Google Drive sync:

  • Your data is backed up to your own Google Drive account

  • It's stored in a private app folder that only you can access

  • We (Design By Riah) cannot see or access this data

  • This is a direct connection between your device and your Google account.

What We Don't Have Access To

  • ❌ Your receipts

  • ❌ Your subscription data

  • ❌ Your financial information

  • ❌ Your Google account

  • ❌ Your Google Drive files

  • ❌ Any personal information

Information We May Receive

The only way we receive any information from you is if you voluntarily contact us:

  • If you email support@designbyriah.com, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to share

  • We use this solely to respond to your inquiry

  • We don't add you to marketing lists or share your contact with anyone

Third-Party Services

Google Drive API

If you enable sync, the app uses Google's API to save data to your Drive. This is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. We don't receive any data from Google about you or your account.

Receipt Scanning

Receipt scanning happens entirely on your device using on-device processing. No images or scanned data are sent to our servers (we don't have servers for this).

Your Control

You have complete control over your data:

  • Export anytime: Download your data as CSV, PDF, or JSON

  • Delete anytime: Use "Delete Account & Data" in Settings to erase everything

  • Disable sync: Disconnect Google Drive whenever you want

  • Uninstall: Removing the app deletes all local data

Children's Privacy

ReceiptVault is not directed at children under 13. Since we don't collect data from anyone, we don't collect data from children either.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, we'll post the changes here and update the date above. Since we don't collect your data, changes would likely be clarifications rather than new data practices.
